More about the 1993, 1995 & 1996 Top Winners

Supreme UK Grand Premier Akdamar Bazisey Mahsus, known to his breeder Joyce Johnson and his friends as "Bazi", had an excellent year in 1995.

Born in June 1994, he was already a Grand Premier at the start of the 1995 Supreme Show. He was awarded his UK Grand Premier Certificate and Best of Breed Turkish Van Neuter and was then judged the Best of Variety Semi-Longhair Neuter. He then defeated the six other Best of Variety Neuters to become Supreme Neuter.

Finally, judged against the Supreme Adult and Supreme Kitten, he was selected by the panel of Judges to be Supreme Exhibit 1995.

Bazi
BaziBazi next went to the National Cat Club Championship Show in December 1995.

To Joyce's delight he again beat all competition to become Best Exhibit in Show.

Bazi retired from competition after this, appearing on exhibition at selected Shows to greet his friends and show off his rosettes and trophies.

When the time came round for Supreme Show entries, Bazi had matured well and Joyce was persuaded to enter him for the 1996 Show.

After another UK Grand Premier Certificate and Best of Breed, Bazi was again selected as Best of Variety Semi-Longhair Neuter and took his place in the Best in Show pen. Again, he defeated the other Best of Variety Neuters to become Supreme Neuter for the second year running.

Finally, with the Supreme Adult, Supreme Kitten and Bazi on stage, the Judges made their choice.....
..... and Bazi made history by becoming Supreme Exhibit for the second year running!

The award of Supreme Exhibit has only been in existence since 1992 and Bazi is the first cat to repeat this Supreme accolade.

Bazi
