More Details of some of the 2006 Winners

Born in February 2003, `Molly' lives, mostly peacefully, with six other Devons, She is very much alpha female and keeps the others in their places, with the exception of Heather's Black & White girl Tilly. They have the occasional face off regarding pole position. Molly has had three litters of kittens and hopefully will have a fourth sometime in Summer 2007

She has always loved going to shows and seems to know the big occasion, performing beautifully for the audience. She gives judges the look which says `I know I'm the best, so I dare you to disagree with me.' - It has certainly paid off!

Dancelot was a love child. Champion Drestothril Dambuster, Christina's Red Point, opened her door one night whilst she was asleep and mated Imperial Grand Champion Drestothril Daddysgirl - totally unplanned.The result was this lovely litter of five Seal and Tortie Points Christina kept Dancelot and her sister Silk Drawers. (Dambuster has such a loving gentle nature so he still lives in the house rather than in a stud chalet...Hopefully his spraying will not get too much out of hand!)

Affectionately Known as "The Tup" (no idea why, but it suited her), she started her winning as a kitten but at 10 months was diagnosed with PKD, one of the first Burmese in the UK to be diagnosed. She won her first CC at a year old, but was then neutered.

Once she came back out on the show bench as a neuter, she has hardly looked back, rarely being beaten for Best of Breed and winning all her attempts at the Grand Premier, (except when she was beaten by her Grannie) and all but two of her nine attempts at Imperial. She has never had a Reserve Imperial, it was always all or nothing!

She likes to make up to judges and is fully aware of what is expected of her-a true show off, she certainly knows how beautiful she is!!

At almost two years old `Phoebe' made her show debut at the Teesside Cat Club Show at the end of August 2006 where she won her first Challenge Certificate and Best of Breed. She then went on to gain two more consecutive Challenge Certificates and Best Of Breed,s at the Northern Counties Cat Club Show and then the North West Cat Club Show where she gained her Championship title (all within one month). The 2006 Supreme show was only Phoebe,s fourth show and to be placed Best of Variety Persian Adult was a dream come true for Heathrose Persians & Exotics.

Kasper to his friends is just like any other kitten. He enjoys playing with Amber (a red and white Norwegian Forest / Birman youngster ). He also shares his life with 14 year old Smokey Blue and 9 year old Rascal.

One of his favourite past-times is unravelling a full toilet roll across the landing upstairs - if only the Andrex puppy knew about it ! He does enjoy wrestling Amber in the bath which is very noisy. He also likes watching the birds through the window and chirrups to them.
